screwed up my first ever written test.

finally forced myself to sleep at 5am. and after 3 hours...my alarm went off. i was contemplating then whether or not to go for lect. ok. maybe not much of contemplating. i din really want to get out of bed. but thinking of how i wld let my group members down if i din go, as the first lect is on some management group project thingy..i literally drop onto the floor..and dragged myself to the cupboard. which isnt all that far if you ask.

so there i was like a zombie in lect.......and guess what.

i was the only person in my group who was there.

am an idiot.

with the rain coming down..i guess all of them decided that it was a good day to sleep in.

to stress that point again.

i am an idiot.

instead of sleeping on my comfy bed, and the nice rainy weather...there i was sitting in the lect falling asleep.

i really am an idiot.

so with the help of some coffee i lasted till now. which is 6pm. and STILL i can't sleep...

ive got a damn test tomorrow.

i hate myself.

instead of whining and complaining abt my upcoming mid-sem tests...i shall take it like a...er...er..man. yeah a man.

give me your best shot lecturers. nothing's gonna bring me down. for theres always a re-test. right? right? right?

there must be.

oh and am shifting.

finally a place with proper living room. bedroom. toilet. and kitchen. no more sharing of crappy kitchen and fridge. and staying in a shoebox.

and the best thing? it comes with 2 backyards. to BARBIES and BEYOND!

its an understatement if one were to say that the SAF is screwed up.

ive just the perfect reason to back the above statement.

as i was lying on my bed after my nice lamb souvlaki dinner, and watching AMI..my singapore number rang. thinking that it was someone who missed me so much that the need of calling me on my spore number arise, i jumped on my nokia...

and here's how the conversation went.....

caller X: "hello desmond?"

me: "yeah?"

caller X: "am Din from whiskey company."

me: "huh?"

caller X: *sounding irritated* "i am DIN from whisky company. WHISKEY clerk."

me: "uh huh..."

caller X: "you know about your duty tomorrow?"

me: "HUH?"

caller X: *sounding EXTREMELY irritated* "you know YOUR DUTY TOMRROW???!!"

me: "i ORD-ed last year...."

caller X: *sounding shock and realised how stupid he was* "errr then why they give me your number?"

me: "i dunno..but i do know that you are calling me in australia..."

caller X: "HUH?! ok bye."

he din even give me a chance to say bye and ask how has tekong been....such rudeness. tsk. one thing for sure, he must be calling from his mobile by the speed he hung up the phone on me.

oh no.
am on DOO duty tomorrow.
i should be worried.
i need to get on the next flight back.
shit.
am gonna get extra.

its really amazing how my name and number is somewhere around still, on some shit pieces of paper in tekong after having ord-ed for like a whole 5 mths.

its amazing how one can keep writing from the lecture notes which all the students have. and stopped for a whole 2 minutes not knowing what else to say. and then decides to show the lecture how to use the graphing calculator over the projector. a thing that i believe 90% of the lecture already know.

its no surprise that when the calculator went on the screen half the lecture walked out.

here comes the amazing part. he continues going on about the calculator while people walk past him. i was one of them.

garfield hates mondays.
i use to like them.
cos its a new beginning. a new start.
now i hate them.

starting your week with a 2 hr lecture by the i-read-direct-and-copy-direct-from-your-lecture-notes lecturer.

in all seriousness. anyone in class could have taken over. wonder what his thinking.
either he likes copying stuff or he thinks that the font in our notes are too small.

but still its always good to be able to sleep the first 2 hours of your first lecture every week.
which means i can afford to sleep late every sunday for EPL.

how exciting.
