ive been thinking of getting another living thing in my puny room. its too boring being e only living thing around. and with my limit space theres only a handful of pets i can consider having.
fishes are out. ive never been able to keep them. before i know they are training for e 50m backstrokes...

was thinking of keeping e moth that flew in a few nights ago as my pet. its free. no need to feed. no need to bathe. and i can entertain myself by looking at it fly around.

but then it got too irritating after a while, flying around me while i was trying to concentrate on survivor. now its flatten against my wall..nice wall display if u ask me.

so e one that i am seriously thinking of keeping is e hermit crab. having seen them in e pet shops round here. and having caught them in pulau tekong before. they are adorably dumb looking. with e shell that i can draw anything on and watching their eyes pop out. and yes..cooking them if am hungry.....

so i decided to take some time off to read up on them on e net. i spent 10 mins on the proper care for your hermits section and i closed e window.



they are so troublesome.

youve got to make sure e temperature is right..there are enough spare shells around..and worse of all they only drink boiled water..cos those straight from e tap has got chlorine in them. wtf. even I drink from e damn tap sometimes. now instead of me being entertained by them...ive got to boil water for them to drink. NEVER! so there goes my plan of keeping a hermit crab.

shall just get some plant and place it by my window. its still a living thing.

oh second thoughts...forget it. save e money for hungry jacks sounds much better.

having not brought my beloved guit over from singapore in fear of overweight luggage and practically too much stuff to carry in hand...ive been itching to get my hands on one here. so today i went down town to hunt for it w mag. oh and may i add if i were to send it over from spore they dun guarantee that it will come in one piece. wads wrong with them....

e guit shops displays like e most expensive guits openly which will normally be locked up in sweelee... woohoo. yeah but then again i was on a budget.

went there with e aim of getting just a normal 6 string accoustic to kill time back in my shoebox.....and i chanced upon a 12 string...considering e fact tt i already got a semi accoustic back home AND e fact tt i have always wanted to get a 12 string AND e price was fairly reasonable AND e sound of it was still reasonable AND it was literally calling out to me to bring it back with me....i ended up getting it...muahahhaha and am having lots of fun with it woohoo...but guess tuning it in future will be a chore....

so here it is.

p/s if u ever get a guitar in aus..rem u can bargain for it. even though e place looks like music plaza at PS. ;p oh and i din bargain for it anyway cos i din noe i was able to but they gave me a better price for it without me asking! talk abt nice ppl...

had my second desmond-e-chef meal. while yesterdays meegoreng-with-egg-with-lettuce-with-pork in chilli sauce was good...they were all mainly canned food. today i made my first carbonara spag. and am proud to say tt it was yummy! may i add tt my standard is pretty high for food. hahhahahaha. if not for e fact that e look of e spag was pretty disgusting..all creamy and white..and a egg that was erm all smashed up.. i would have taken a pic and post it up.

if i dun make it as an engineer..i might just consider becoming a chef...hahhaa...

took a much needed evening nap....after e mere 4 hours of sleep e nite before. woke up with a shock as i saw e sun shining thru' my window...thinking i was late for lecture or something. look at my phone and it was 8pm....and e sun was just beginning to set. it was a beautiful sight as i open my half awake eyes sitting on my bed looking thru' e window...was over in 10 secs..just enough time for me to snap a few shots.

beauty doesnt last.

if theres an award for e world most ulu uni campus this has got to be it...
even e campus name sounds ulu...bundooooooooora...all e way at e end of e tram line.




and e nicest thing you can see there is this darn lake...




and that beautiful ray of sunshine...




too bad i din manage to take e parrots flying around..then it will look like jurong bird park..with e lakes and e birds together...

am so glad..am studying at a place that is so close to home..jurong bird park.

after a week of home cook food..am finally alone. in my shoe box. as jan calls it.
e past week has been hectic. finding accoms. getting shit from e enrolment ppl. orientation. groceries. printer. all e stuff to make my shoe box more cosy and comfy.

so now am finally settled down. with everything going well less e fact that am still not OFfICIALLY enroled due to e stupid admin work tt goes on there. e good part of this is i still have got a time table and a place to go to tmr when sch starts. tts provided i dun get lost in e campus.

e reason why jan calls this a shoe box...my toilet is just 2 hops away..and i think i can do a SBJ from my door to my bed...i can wash my face and brush my teeth seating down cos e sink is right beside my laptop..hmmmz..aint it perfect..everythings within reach. and theres pools(both e swimming one and e one with balls and cues)and gym just four level down. woohoo~ not that i will swim or do gym...its e free pool(yeah e one with balls) that am after.

this post is super disorganise. think its cos of not blogging for too long.

flight was bad. somehow was surrounded by this china tour group who behaves like they own e plane. but e ice cream tt was provided was good. and of course watching e simpsons and friends helped.

am really taken aback by e number of ppl that came to send me off. super super paiseh. too many groups and din spend much time talking to you guys...spend most of e time running around. hehz. thanks a lot for coming...really appreciate it...when u guys could have spent it playing mahjong and stuff. and betting on me crying or not..stupid y leong.

think e emotions all came to me when i gave mum e final hug. erkz.

e ppl at melbourne turned out to be much more friendly than i expect. mags enrolment din really go well. hmm and it took us a pretty long time running to lotsof banks to open a account. they were either out for lunch or with apptments. darn.

oh oh and i finally manage to get my livestrong band from nike town......but i lost it before e end of e day... dunno where it dropped..damn. after waiting for so darn long for e ones i order to come and finally manage to get my hands on one...i lost it.

e weather is cold here...at least its cold for summer...but then i see ppl walking pass me in berms and tees..while am all wrapped up in jacket and all..think they are all just trying to act hero..;p

feeling a rumble. am excited. yet unwilling. sigh. e time has come. and waking up on cny with a freaking migrain doesnt help. argh no mood to blog. alrite will go smell my bolster for one last time. and laze on my bed for one last time.

my plan of wanting to print some pics to bring over was totally foiled. with my damn printer only managing to print yellow and black and nothing else. of all e times..it has got to be now. why do i get e feeling tt everythings against me now. me against e world. hmm must be e darn migrain still working on me. gonna pop in 2 more panadols.

off i go. see ya fellas have a wonderful cny. damn. i cant mahjong this cny. which just reminds me to put my mahjong 3 short 1 game into my bag.

i just realised all e pics i took of my reunion dinner and of my luggage turned out to be mpeg. erkz. WHO SWITCHED MY DAMN CAM TO VIDEO MODE????....thinking of it.....it might just happen to be myself. now i cant post any pics up. and to view all e 3 secs clips is just irritating. shall just see from e thumbnails.

my luggage weighs a mere 23 kg. hahahhaaa. hahahhahahahahaha. hahhahahahahaha. tts has got to be eligible for e 'lightest luggage for a yrs trip' award. hmmmm...e lack of weight is beginning to make me worry if ive forgotten to bring some major stuff. i cant think of any. tees..jeans..shoes... tts abt it. oh well.

gonna start loading my mp3 with songs for my 7 hr ride....

oh and may i add...after all these yrs of driving sijie around...i finally got to seat on e PASSENGER seat tonight. hehz.

somehow ive gotten over e sadness and e unwillingness to leave. prob due to all e talks ive had with friends recently. melb..here i come. *burpz*

finally gotten down to packing. and am done. unfortunately not with packing. but with making my already messy room to a even messier state.

took me 5 mins to take out all e clothes i wanna bring. another 15 mins folding and rolling them down to size. and now...they are all over my bed. still figuring out wads e best formation for them to be in e luggage to save space. guess i shall just sleep in e living room today. and while going through my cupboard..i come to realise e number of jerseys i have, e number of stuff that i hafent worn in ages, and how much i have actually spent on graniph tees all these yrs.

damn.

e good thing was there isnt any cockroaches crawling out of e cupboard.

see. it only took me 20 mins to pack my luggage. am a pro.

ok not pack. at least make them seemed all rolled up and ready to enter e luggage. that is when ive decided on e formation to put them in.

last canoepolo match. last soccer match. many lasts to come.

off to dream abt e formation for them to enter e luggage while they now lie aimlessly on my bed...

having slept only at 6 this morning..my faithful room phone decided to ring at 11am....while i wld normally choose to ignore it, cos half e time its either i have won some lucky draw or some free holidays from those damn telemarketers, for God knows why..i dragged myself off e bed to my phone.

and what do i get for all these efforts????

an indian on e other end rattling on and on and on, without giving me a chance to talk..and when i finally said HELLO..i understand e only word she said.

wrong number.

so much for a morning call. and now i cant seem to be able to get back to dreamland.

this has got to be e worse chinese new year ever. to think that i be flying on e very first day of cny just doesnt sound good. sending off clement earlier today brought me to a lot of thoughts. of me being in his place next week at this very time. doing the checking in and having your relatives and friends sending you off. it just sucks. and which lead to me not enjoying myself at both e polymates gathering at holland v and zouk with campmates. its like, going to e airport just doesnt seem to be such a nice thing to do anymore. still rem e times when i used to pick dad up from e airport. it was always going there getting my nuggets and sitting beside ronald on e bench at terminal 1. i was just flooded with thoughts e moment i reached e airport via mrt.

speaking of which. e mrt to changi airport was ridiculous. i waited for more than 15 mins before e damn train arrive. hmm wonder if thats normal. too little of public transport these days i guess.

walked through chinatown with maggot today. e feeling is just not there. knowing that u r spending your cny over at some ang mo country which dont recognise this very big day we are celebrating. am beginning to hate listening to those gong xi gong xi songs....alrite alrite..am complaining too much. just let me be.

there were 2 main reasons why we lost 8-2 to some thai team.


reason number 1.
as you can see below other than e four or five of us below e age of 25...e rest are..ok..lets just put it nicely...of age. hehehe. that was nice enough =)


still able to smile..


reason number 2.
adding to e fact that they are of age...they still volunteered to shift e goal post. notice how those under 25 are all not involved. and thus using up 80% of their energy before e start of e game.




heavy man..

and so we got thrashed....
one day i will be like them...
